The United States Postal Service (USPS) recently announced a mid-year increase as part of the “Delivering for America” plan to improve sustainability while maintaining and improving the delivery standards that we as businesses and consumers expect and deserve. As a result, the USPS is imposing an increase across all products and mail classes. The new rates will begin the week of August 29, 2021. Learn More.
What does this mean for you?
Overall, you will see a postage increase from 2.5% – 4.3% depending on mail type (direct mail, shared mail, etc.) sent out through USPS.
Additionally, Valassis will be applying a short-term service fee through 2021 to cover cost increases with production, transportation, and materials ranging anywhere from a 2.5% to 5% increase depending on the product.
